this one i actually didnt make myself for once. another artist, Luke McKay did it for me, he does the comics for Red Vs Blue. he uses photoshop like i do though.
watched Red State last night, it was actually not bad. it was fast and brutal with amazing performances from Michael Parks and John Goodman (especially at the end). My only beef is how they tied up the loose end of Stephen Root's character, being that he basically caused the whole meltdown they wrapped him up in a really lazy way.
wow, a lot of people really dislike Diablo Cody. i really enjoyed Juno but not so much Jennifer's Body (it had its moments). its not the end of the world, shes not writing the whole script of Evil Dead, just doing some rewrites, probably cleaning it up to sound like how modern people talk. jeez, chill.
Thats not comforting either. I've never watched her Tara show, but the characters in Juno and Jennifer's Body don't speak with a basic modern vocabulary. I'm pretty sure I'm not that out of touch with modern vocab either, even if I do live in Wisconsin.
If anyone in the remake says "lesbigay", I'd probably groan or scoff hard enough to choke on one of my pretzel bites. She is dangerous. All her projects need a warning card at the beginning saying, "The filmmakers wish to inform all viewers that consumption of food or drink is not recommended as you run the risk of choking on your food or swallowing your straw after every character that isn't played by the great J.K. Simmons speaks. We've warned you, so you can't sue the filmmakers now or the theater chain." Then in the corner would probably be a drawing of Ms. Cody flipping everyone off.
To be honest though, the remake is a crummy idea altogether, whether Diablo Cody writes nothing in the script, one line of dialogue, or the whole thing.
the dialogue in both were head-scratchingly stupid, which is probably why people don't like her that much.
i was kinda underwhelmed by Super 8, i might be the minority but it just seemed kinda average to me. I also saw Tucker and Dale vs Evil, and that was pretty funny.
wow, folks are being awfully rude about Bumbray's review of Pirates 4. I havent seen it yet but i'll probably agree with him, it wasn't a needed sequel. Calm down guys, he's a critic, its his job to be critical.
cant say i'm shocked by the Scream sequels getting canned, i mean Scream 4 was ok, but it was hardly needed. There was a reason we all got tired of the murder movie whodunits like Scream and the multitude of wannabes.
i really dig the trailer for Rise of The Planet of the Apes and i want to see it, but the name is soo clunky, couldn't they have just gone with something smoother like Genesis of the Apes? i understand they have to work the brand name in, its just a lot to fit on a sign.
I think they wanted to fit it in better with the flow of "Beneath," "Escape," "Conquest," and "Battle." Silly long-ass titles but good movies.
Scream 4 was alright, i'd give it a 7 out of 10. kinda saw the killer coming with my horror movie reasoning. its not better than Scream 1, but better than 2 and 3. i suggest checking it out and enjoying the good time.
ps- Panettiere was a lot hotter than i remember her on Heroes, i think it was the cute haircut
checking out the BBC Sherlock series tonight, really excited.
I have 6 total, want more. Funniest part for some people is that I have the writer's pseudonym of Cherry but I've got bananas tattooed on me. ;)
thanks! it was my first tattoo back in 2001, the tattoo artist was very eager to do it, he was a big Contra fan and said he had never seen anyone with it.
Hobo With A Shotgun was pretty awesome, part Death Wish, part Machine Girl. Good times had by all

"Fruit Stripe Gum" colors! I like it.
