It's not like he gives a groundbreaking, award-worthy performance or anything, but Wilfred has kind of made me see Elijah Wood in a new light. He's pretty awesome and great on the show.
Is it possible The Avengers could be better than TDKR just due impossibly high expectations for TDKR? I mean, with Marvel's track record, I think we can all expect a good, entertaining, action packed movie as per usual, but with TDKR I think we're expecting the next coming of Christ. Or is that just me?
I have a lot more invested in TDKR to be honest. I've loved every twist and turn in Nolan's films. The Avengers has been built up nicely but I'm very fascinated to where TDKR will go. I think TDKR will be more dramatically compelling while The Avengers will be the crowd pleaser of the summer.
I mean it's all subjective. Different people will think different movies are better.
Anyone watch the show Wilfred? The U.S. version starring Elijah Wood? It's a pretty good show, it's kind of like, Fight Club meets Donnie Darko meets Three's Company. I don't know.
Had a pretty awesome weekend. I saw Jurassic Park on the big screen cause AMC was doing a film festival thing. It was amazing. A. Maz. Ing.
Glad you had fun my man. I went to see JP when it originally came to theaters and it was an experience.
I just remembered, I had a dream last night where Amy Poehler had the acting capacity to go dark, real real dark. I've made a note of it.
Comedians often are very dark people behind the scenes, so I could see it. There's a thin between comedy and tragedy, and so often comedy is used as a coping mechanism.
Yup, can totally see it. She could play some kind of misunderstood psycho ex girlfriend whose dad just died

Okay so I'm still midway through season 4 of Buffy and I've finished the episode "This Year's Girl." I just have to say, Faith is a fucking asshole. I hate her. I guess not in a bad way, but it's just that she frustrates me so much cause she's such a shit disturber and I'm punching my knees in anger.
The clerk at Best Buy yesterday asked me what Drive was about and I said "he has money and people are after him and it's suspenseful." That's accurate enough right?
If you work at Best Buy and don't know what 'Drive' is about ... you might want to re-evaluate your career.
dude, there's geek squad workers at my local best buy that couldn't tell me shit about a lap top. I had the money and i was there to get it that day and they couldn't close the fucking deal...

George Clooney is a generous director because he tends to seek out projects where the lead role is clearly wrong for him, and is content to let another actor take the spotlight while he can remain in a supporting role which can still be advertised as a George Clooney movie because he's a huge star and a box office draw. This isn't narcisism combined with charity, it's just smart filmmaking. Great actors have starred under his direction including Sam Rockwell, David Strathairn, and now Ryan Gosling...[more]...
