one advantage to being a young "local" at a small town bar? out-of-town girls loves locals at a small town bar.
Giddy about SUPER 8. What else? Stoked, Amped, Anticipating, etc etc. I love the great nostalgic Spielberg feel, but am looking forward to (hopefully) seeing Abrams bring his 21st Century twist/style on the proceedings.
I don't know about everyone else, but hearing that AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS isn't happening any time soon is a huge bummer. This had epic-sized potential.
It also pisses me off to no end.
The fact a film directed by Del Toro, produced by James Cameron, starring Tom Cruise in 3-fucking-D can't get greenlit is sad on the studio's part.
Alright alright, 150 mil on an R-Rated film...but again, you have three of the biggest ballers in the biz shooting an epic in 3D!
THAT'S MONEY BABY
i'm with you, charlie sheen! fuck the trolls.

Little late to the game, I know, but it's been a few months since I've been on ma profile. Had it kicking around and figured I'd throw er up!
went to the doctors today and said i might be bi-polar...to which i responded, "silly doctor, it's called bi-winning!" where did this clown get his medical degree?
well, did a little MFC clean-up. i really need to start using this more.
ATTENBERG - Ariane Labed deserves every heap of praise she got at the Venice Film Festival for her performance. Some may be turned off by it's lack of sentimentality or even emotional connection, but director Athina Rachel Tsangari uses a "wildlife documentary" approach to satirize human behaviours and norms, while reflecting on the deconstruction of the small Greek town she grew up in.

8, 13, and 18 are some of my favorites... NICE LIST MAN!
